This is the fifth year I've produced the Aotearoa Sun and Moon Calendar. It is designed specially to help you connect with astronomical movements and their effect on your daily energies and feelings.  

The most influential of these movements is the dance performed by the Sun and the Moon. The Moon's changing reflection of the Sun is the main focus of the calendar as can be seen in the use of lunar months with the waxing and waning phases visually shown on the calendar grid. 

The year ahead: Last year was a year of dramatic astrological events. However, 2025 was somewhat of a build up for 2026. Planetary transits will bring remarkable changes in technology, communication, transport, power structures and societal organisation. In your personal life, you will experience great shifts. You will need to let things go as you take yourself into (and find yourself being taken into) new, fresh ways of living and seeing the world.

The Aotearoa Sun and Moon calendar will guide you to plan your active time and your personal reflective time using astrological energies.

Created by Fiona Ingram in 2022, this year’s Sun + Moon Calendar was designed by emerging designer, Alexandra Love, and once again features the beautiful illustrations by Jazz Rowburrey.
